Back in Davos again, the Public Eye Conference focused on transnational corporations. For 4 days men and women from Brazil, Ecuador, Georgia, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Mexico, Bangladesh, India, Australia, Great Britain, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Italy, Holland, the US and Switzerland discussed the many ways in which globalization had gone wrong. More people than usual showed up because the WEF, responding to criticism about its lack of openness and its one-sidedness, had decided to hold an Open Forum.
